Men

The Howard Bison (#4) will play Delaware State Hornets (#6) at 1 pm on ESPN+.

The Hornets are the surprise team of the tournament. Pulling off 2 upsets to make the championship game. The Hornets beat South Carolina State (#3) 71-58 in the quarterfinal, and North Carolina Central (#2) by the same score 71-58.

The Bison fought hard to get to the Championship as well. They beat the Morgan State Bears (#5) 78-65 in the Quarterfinal, and they beat the Norfolk State Spartans (#1) 80-74.

Men Key Players

Delaware State’s Deywilk Tavarez the MEAC Rookie of the Year has averaged 24.5 points and 4.5 rebounds in the 2024 Tournament so far.

The Spartans beat the South Carolina State Bulldogs (#8) 75-43, and they beat the Coppin State Eagles (#4) 73-44.

The Bison beat the Morgan State Bears (#7) 49-44, and they beat the North Carolina Central Eagles (#3) 69-56.
