Need experience and work product to show a potential employer? Get it at the Spartan Echo! We’re now accepting applications for fall positions.

Attention all writers, photographers, and graphic designers…

The Spartan Echo is accepting applications now for all editor positions. Student editors will serve during the fall 2019 semester and may receive a performance grant for their service. Amounts vary by position and funding availability. Some work–done from home–will be necessary during the summer break to prepare for the fall semester.

Please see the Spartan Echo staff page at http://www.spartanecho.org/staff (a mobile-friendly website) for more information regarding job duties and qualifications.

Applications are available online from Student Activities.

Applications will be accepted via e-mail at seopfer@nsu.edu through Monday, April 29th.

All potentially qualified applicants will be interviewed by the faculty adviser and must supply work samples at that time. Follow-up interviews and grammar testing may apply. Positions are awarded after the current spring semester final grades are posted.

If you’d like to ask questions or seek clarification before applying, please attend a Spartan Echo staff meeting at 5:00 p.m. in room 344 of the Student Center on any Tuesday or Thursday. The meetings are open to any Norfolk State University student: undergraduate and graduate, full-time or part-time. Only full-time students, however, are eligible for fall editor positions.
