Attention all writers, photographers, and graphic designers…we need you!
The Spartan Echo is accepting applications now for all editor positions. Student editors will serve during the spring 2018 semester and may receive a performance grant for their service. Amounts vary by position and funding availability. And be forewarned: work will be necessary during the winter break to adhere to the spring semester publication schedule.

Applications are available online from Student Activities; go to https://www.nsu.edu/student-activities/forms and download the “Spartan Echo Publication Application” doc file, fill it out, then deliver it to Student Activities.
Applications are accepted digitally via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or printed out and delivered in person at the Student Activities office.
Completed applications are due by Friday, Nov. 10th.
All potentially qualified applicants will be interviewed by the faculty adviser and must supply work samples at that time. Follow-up interviews and grammar testing may apply. Positions are awarded after the current fall semester final grades are posted.
If you’d like to ask questions or seek clarification before applying, please attend a Spartan Echo staff meeting at 12:30 p.m. in room 344 of the Student Center on any Tuesday or Thursday. The meetings are open to any Norfolk State University student. Only full-time students, however, will be considered for funded editor positions.
