City of Norfolk holds rabies clinic for cats and dogs

NORFOLK, VA – On Saturday, October 28, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., the Norfolk Department of Public Health will be conducting a low cost rabies clinic for dogs and cats. The clinic will be held in the parking lot at the main Norfolk Health Center, 830 Southampton Avenue, at the intersection of Brambleton and Colley Avenues.

The cost is only $5.00 per animal, cash only and while supplies last.  All animals must be at least 12 weeks of age. Cats must be in carriers and dogs must be on leashes.  A previous rabies certificate is required for the 3-year vaccine.  For animals without a certificate, a 1-year vaccine will be administered.
