NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — Four Hampton Roads men have been charged with five murders and five additional shootings in a single month in 2015.
Federal authorities have charged Antonio “Murdock” Simmons, Anthony “Bull” Foye, Nathaniel “Savage” Mitchell and Alvaughn “LB” Davis with racketeering, murder, attempted murder, distribution of narcotics and other charges.
Authorities say the men are members of a local “set” of the Nine Trey Gangsters, a gang affiliated with the United Blood Nation. Authorities say the men are responsible for several murders and shootings that stem from a conflict between two local sets of the gang. Authorities say Foye and Mitchell committed 10 shootings while Simmons help plan the attacks and Davis acted as a getaway driver.
