SUFFOLK, Va. (AP) — Officials say a Suffolk home caught fire after being struck by lightning.

Local news outlets report the blaze occurred Sunday evening. No injuries were reported.

Officials say responding firefighters found smoke coming from a window in the kitchen area of the home. An investigation determined that the lightning strike blew out three electrical sockets, causing fire to travel under the home and into a wall.

Crews also found light smoke in the attic.

Two residents of the home have been displaced due to the damage.
