NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — A Virginia Beach man who eluded police for four years has pleaded guilty to murder charges.
Local news outlets reports that 26-year old Montrell D’Angelo Davis pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and using a gun to commit a felony on Thursday, Mar 31.
Davis had been accused of fatally shooting 19-year-old Kameron Collier in August 2011 after an argument. Police charged Davis two months later, but he eluded capture for four years.
Marshals and police eventually found and arrested Davis in Norfolk last summer after receiving a tip.
A judge scheduled his sentencing for June.
