Bill Clinton to lead rally for wife in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Former President Bill Clinton will lead a get-out-the-vote rally for his wife in Richmond just days ahead of the March 1 Super Tuesday primary.

The Hillary Clinton campaign event is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Hippodrome. Doors to the historic renovated theater open at 6 p.m.

Hillary Clinton is competing with Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Earlier Wednesday, the former president will appear at a rally for his wife in Alexandria.

Virginia, Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas and Vermont will hold Democratic and Republican primaries Tuesday.
