Parking decal enforcement begins Sept. 15

NSU is a decal controlled campus. Every vehicle that parks on campus is required to display a valid NSU decal or visitor’s pass. All faculty, staff and students are required to purchase a decal in order to park on campus.

The three-week open campus grace period, which allows for the purchase of decals, ends Monday, Sept. 14. Decals will be strictly enforced starting Tuesday, Sept. 15.

Any student, faculty or staff who has not purchased a decal by Sept. 13, will not be permitted to park on campus after that date, even to purchase a decal. Individuals must park off campus. Decals may be purchased from the Ticket Center, Monday–Friday from 9:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. The Ticket Center will be closed for the Labor Day holiday on Monday, Sept. 7.

During the open campus grace period, Parking Services is enforcing all other parking violations to include, but not limited to, the following:

Parking in No Parking Zones

Parking in handicap spaces without proper credentials

Parking in reserved lots without proper decal

Parking in faculty/staff lots without proper decal
