Va. Beach officers won’t face charges in 3 shootings

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (AP) — A prosecutor says no charges will be filed against Virginia Beach police officers involved in three nonfatal shootings this month.

On May 8, officers exchanged gunfire with James Wallace Jr. Police confronted Wallace following the fatal shooting of a woman and the wounding of another man.

Louis Fernando Vazquez was wounded during an exchange of gunfire with an officer on May 15 following a robbery and hostage incident.
