Although we’ve seen snow and low temperatures, spring fever is in the air! It’s important for NSU students to be aware of upcoming spring events. NSU’s student body already highly anticipates the school’s annual ‘Spartan Fest’ in the second week of April and the always exciting March Madness basketball tournament.

Another spring featured event Spartans will look forward to is the first annual ‘NSU Rap – Off’. These main events will make for a thrilling stretch as students finish the semester strong.

Spartan Fest is always a time when campus bonding is at a high level. This year’s Spartan Fest includes a comedy show, motivational speaking, and school spirited meals sponsored by Thompson Hospitality.

As Spartans prepare to share laughs, inspiration, and food this spring, our Spartan basketball team is out maintaining our winning MEAC record.

The annual March Madness basketball tournament is scheduled to begin March 7. Prior to the tournament, Spartans face their arch rivals the Hampton Pirates in the Battle of the Bay.

Students should be aware of NSU’s upcoming annual events. Yearly events such as March Madness and Spartan Fest preserve NSU tradition. New events like the upcoming ‘NSU Rap – Off” keep the campus scene fresh and unpredictable.
