Norfolk State has big plans for its 2025 Homecoming celebration, capping the day with a star-studded Finale Concert. The event, set for Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 7 p.m. in Echols Arena, will feature legendary performers Boosie and Trey Songz following the Spartans’ Homecoming football game against South Carolina State and the traditional tailgate.
The announcement was made on Instagram by both Spartancon2025 and the official University Instagram page. The concert is presented by Spartancon2025, a division of the Multimedia Marketing agency Creative Nation, which has a mission to bring nationally recognized talent to Spartan Nation’s biggest weekend of the year.
Fans can expect to be entertained by performances from the two headliners. Boosie, a chart-topping rapper with a long-standing reputation in hip-hop, and Trey Songz, is a Grammy Award-winning singer with multiple platinum records to his name.
Tickets for the Homecoming Finale Concert go on sale to the public Friday, September 26, at 10 a.m.
Boosie was the first to announce his performance Spartancon’s official Instagram page. His statement read,
“It’s going down after the tailgate, Behold the Green and Gold and Never fold.”
Spartancon2025 says the evening will capture the true spirit of NSU’s Homecoming, emphasizing that after the game, students, alumni, and fans will be able to CONnect, CONverge, and CONcert!
