RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Swimmer Ryan Lochte is expected to appear at a comic convention in Richmond.

Organizers for the Wizard World Comic Con say the 12-time Olympic medal winner will greet fans, sign autographs and pose for selfies with fans at the Greater Richmond Convention Center on Sept. 10.

Lochte’s visit comes as he continues to deal with the fallout of a drunken incident during the Rio Olympics he tried to pass off as a robbery.

Lochte initially said he and his teammates were robbed at gunpoint by men with a police badge. Security video suggested they actually faced security guards after allegedly vandalizing a gas station restroom.

Brazilian police charged Lochte Thursday with filing a false robbery report. Lochte has also lost four major sponsors, including Speedo USA and Ralph Lauren.
