PORTSMOUTH, Va. (AP) — TowneBank (TOWN) on Thursday reported third-quarter net income of $17.6 million.
The Portsmouth, Virginia-based bank said it had earnings of 34 cents per share.
The community bank posted revenue of $76 million in the period.
TowneBank shares have climbed 38 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $20.84, an increase of 47 percent in the last 12 months.
