MITCHELLS, Va. (AP) — A Manassas man escaped with no injuries after his small kit airplane clipped a fence at the Coffeewood Correctional Center in Culpeper County.
The Star-Exponent (http://bit.ly/1MtlPwV) reports that 67-year-old Timothy M. Hansen was in the air for less than an hour Thursday afternoon when he began experiencing engine trouble.
Virginia State Police spokesman Sgt. Les Tyler said an investigation is under way.
