PETERSBURG, Va. (AP) — Higher education officials and school presidents will discussVirginia’s strategic plan for postsecondary education during a meeting in Petersburg.
The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia and the Council of Presidents will hold their annual joint meeting at 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21. at Virginia State University’s Gateway Dining Event Center.
The Virginia Plan for Higher Education includes aligning resources among K-12 schools, community colleges and universities.
Monday’s agenda also includes a discussion of the higher education council’s preliminary recommendations for the next biennial budget.
