NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (AP) — A Newport News man has been sentenced to nine years and nine months in prison for an armed bank robbery.
Thirty-six-year-old Harrison Nefale Branch was sentenced Monday in federal court.
Court documents show Branch demanded $40,000 from a teller at the Virginia Educator’sCredit Union in Newport News last September. The teller provided about $8,200. Blanche fled the scene but was arrested.
