CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) — A Charlottesville bed-and-breakfast owned by the Trump Organization has opened its doors to the public.
The Daily Progress reports (http://bit.ly/1cfMKBk ) the 26,000-square-foot Trump Albemarle Estate recently opened 10 rooms to booking.
The property is located adjacent to the Trump Winery and features five rooms that are located in the main house, while four are in the pool house and one is a cabin on the property.
Kerry Woolard, general manager of the winery, says he hopes the lodging will help guests experience Virginia’s wine countryside.
Donald Trump acquired the property in 2012 for $6.5 million from Patricia Kluge, owner of what was then called the Albemarle House.
Rates at Trump Albemarle Estate start at $349 per night, according to its website.
