On Monday, Jan. 26, Chris Brown took to Instagram to tell fans his tour kick off at the Hampton Coliseum on Jan. 27 was postponed.

“I would first like to apologize to all the fans and people who have been supporters of me and all the music over the years. The beginning of the BTS tour has been moved to later dates now. The judge would not sign off on my travel to do the tour until I finish these last 100 hours of community service,” he said.

Brown went on to say “Out of 1000 hours, I only have 100 left. I will work my ass off to complete it and I will be on that stage. Once again, I’m sorry for the delay. I love y’all! We will let y’all know the dates that are changed. It’s not cancelled. Just moved around a couple weeks.”

This came after a judge revoked Brown’s probation after he traveled for a concert without approval and failed to complete all of his 1,000 hours of community service.

The reschedule dates have yet to be announced, and are dependent on his completion of his service hours. Brown is due back to court in March and, if found guilty of violating his probation, could possibly serve jail time.
