ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) — An Arlington man has been arrested after a special investigative grand jury indicted him in connection with the stabbing death of his estranged wife.
Arlington police say 46-year-old David Black was arrested Thursday and charged with murder in the death of 42-year-old Bonnie Black. David Black is also charged with one count of burglary while armed with the intent to commit a felony.
Police say Bonnie Black’s body was discovered in her Aurora Highlands home on April 17 after a neighbor found the couple’s children wandering unsupervised outside her home.
According to court records, the couple was close to finalizing a divorce. They stopped living together in Oct. 2013.
David Black will appear in court Friday. It isn’t immediately clear if he has an attorney.
